WP Engine has once again been named one of the best workplaces in Texas by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture. The recognition, which follows the company’s seventh annual certification as a Great Place to Work in the U.S., brings its total number of Great Place to Work certifications (globally) to a whopping 26!
In fact, WP Engine is now globally certified as a Great Place to Work across our office locations in Australia, Ireland, London, Poland, and the U.S., and we came in at #10 on the list of Best Workplaces in Texas.
“Great Place to Work is the leading institution for recognizing excellence in workplace culture, and WP Engine is excited to receive its recognition across all of our global hubs, in the U.S., and more specifically, within our home state of Texas,” said WP Engine Chief People Officer Annette Alexander.
“As we continue to expand our footprint across the world, we remain committed to building a culture of positivity, inclusion, and camaraderie in all of our global offices, from Australia to Ireland to right here in the Lone Star state.”
WP Engine has already earned numerous accolades from Great Place to Work in 2023, including in Ireland and Poland. These certifications serve as external indicators that our company is on track to attract, train, and retain the best talent in the industry as we continue expanding operations across the globe.
“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” said Great Place To Work Vice President of Global Recognition Sarah Lewis-Kulin.
“By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that WP Engine stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”
For more than 30 years, Great Place to Work has been in the business of identifying and quantifying the employee experience across organizations of all sizes, types, and locations.
The company’s proprietary Trust Index™ survey measures employees’ trust in management, connection with colleagues, and loyalty to the company—all of which are vital to continued success and employee retention. Employees are asked to anonymously rate 60 statements on a scale of 1–5, and that feedback is analyzed to determine the overall experience of employees at an institution.
Responses from employees determine rankings on general Great Place to Work lists, as well as placement on more specialized lists. For example, to be eligible for a spot on the Best Workplaces in Texas list, companies must meet the general Great Place to Work Certification requirement of achieving at least a 65% score on the Trust Index survey, have 10 or more employees in the U.S., and be headquartered in Texas.
Congrats to our Texas and U.S. Teams!
All our global teams send their congratulations to the U.S. and Texas on this recent recognition. Looking for a change of pace in your own career? Check out our career page and come work with a team that’s certifiably Great!
