For the third year in a row, WP Engine Poland has been honored with a Great Place to Work® certification. Our Poland-based team (including our hub in Kraków and distributed team members in Wrocław, Gdańsk, and other cities across the country) first met the eligibility criteria for Great Place to Work recognition in 2021, and has earned an award every year since.

Similar to last year, the team earned recognition as a Great Place to Work for Millennials in addition to the more generalized Great Place to Work acknowledgment.

Over the years, WP Engine’s global teams have earned more than a dozen Great Place to Work awards, and the recent recognition in Poland is yet another on a list of EMEA accolades, coming just after WP Engine Ireland was named a best workplace for women and one of Ireland’s best workplaces in tech.

“As one of WP Engine’s newest European locations, and having earned eligibility for Great Place to Work certification only two years ago, our team is honored to be recognized with two certifications this year,” said WP Engine Sr. Director, Engineering Zygmunt Dyras.

“We’re so proud of the work being done by our teams in Poland, Ireland, and those distributed across EMEA—not just from a company perspective, but from a team-building and camaraderie perspective as well—and we’ll continue building the kind of company culture employees have come to expect from WP Engine.”

Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, certifies workplaces as a Great Place to Work based on feedback surveys given to employees. Employee insights gleaned from the Trust Index™ survey are then anonymized and shared with the company seeking certification so future decisions can be made with the employee experience in mind. Companies that score an average of 65% or higher on the Trust Index survey are then certified as Great Places to Work in one or more categories.

Certification categories include the overarching Great Place to Work as well as subcategories for workplaces within a certain industry, for a certain size of business, in a geographic location, or for a specific subset of the population.

For example, WP Engine has earned Best Workplace for Millennials, Best Workplace for Women, Best Workplace for Wellness, and Best Workplace in Technology awards in years past.

“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” said Great Place to Work Vice President of Global Recognition Sarah Lewis-Kulin.

She emphasized that certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture.

“By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that WP Engine stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”

The WP Engine team is energized by this most recent certification, and our global teams are sending their congratulations to the Poland crew. If you want to join our award-winning team—whether in Poland or around the world—visit our careers page to view open positions!
