This year the internet technology conference Web Summit has ventured from its Dublin origins down south to Lisbon, the capital and largest city in Portugal. Held annually since 2009, Web Summit 2016 is sure to be its biggest year yet! Aiming to hold 50,000 attendees over the course of four days (Nov. 7-10), here’s what you can expect at Web Summit 2016:

More than 50,000 tech CEOs, founders, startups, investors and political leaders driving change across the world are coming together in Lisbon for Web Summit. This is a great opportunity for networking, you wouldn’t want to miss out on.

WP Engine will be holding a networking event co-organised with Second Home. Join us on Wednesday, November 9 at 9pm for a few drinks and some fun music after day 2 of Web Summit.

  • Location: Round table area in Pavilion 2
  • Synopsis: This is a small discussion on a table of 10 that Heather will be hosting talking about the importance of diversity in the workplace.

DNA Versus 130 Hour Weeks: What Makes a CEO?

  • When: Wednesday 9 November – 12:40-13:00
  • Location: Startup University stage
  • Synopsis: What does a CEO need to live and die by? Our panel of experts discuss what makes them tick.
