A little over five years ago, WP Engine opened the doors to our Limerick, Ireland office, taking advantage of the amazing talent the city has to offer. In our post celebrating the five-year anniversary of the office opening, we revealed that WP Enginee now has more than 120 employees in Ireland, expanding beyond Limerick to welcome remote employees across the country.

Our Ireland team has played a pivotal role in WP Engine’s overall growth through award-winning customer support and innovative engineering, and we’re proud to announce the WP Engine Limerick Office has once again been named a Great Place to Work in Ireland.

Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, has affirmed WP Engine’s commitment to being a workplace of choice numerous times since 2017. This is the fourth time our Ireland team has been named a top Irish workplace.

Great Place to Work is a valuable, external validation that helps us acquire an unbiased understanding of how our employees feel at work, and it’s a testament to our thriving workplace culture for potential employees.

To become certified, members of our Ireland team responded to Great Place to Work’s research-backed Trust Index survey. It gauges the level of trust employees experience in their leaders, the level of pride they have in their jobs, and the extent to which they enjoy working alongside their colleagues.

“In a year that looked like a second edition of the previous one, putting people at the center of organizations’ strategies has been more challenging than ever,” said Cathal Divilly, CEO of Great Place to Work® Ireland.

“More than keeping the businesses economically on track, companies have faced numerous changes in health restrictions that have constantly required flexibility, adaptation, and resilience. Coping with digital fatigue and mental health difficulties among the teams has been an extra concern for leadership teams,” Divilly added.

“Ireland’s Best Workplaces can be very proud of their achievement in this particular year and have shown once again that working on the basics and with committed leadership dialed in on improving their culture will reap rewards when it comes to talent attraction and retention.”

To shine a light on the WP Engine Limerick office, the team recently enlisted one of the most talented muralists in Ireland, Claire Prouvost, to capture the culture and essence of working at WP Engine in a commissioned piece that now hangs in the lobby of the Limerick office.

Congratulations to the dedicated members of our team in Limerick and across Ireland for earning this recognition! From our customer support representatives to site leadership and beyond, your willingness to live our values and contribute meaningfully to the future of WP Engine is truly valued, and we can’t wait to see how you’ll continue building a Great Place to Work.
