{"id":26678,"date":"2017-05-22T14:06:51","date_gmt":"2017-05-22T19:06:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpengine.com\/?p=26678"},"modified":"2023-10-25T04:38:37","modified_gmt":"2023-10-25T09:38:37","slug":"wp-engine-receives-recognizegood-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wpengine.com\/case-studies\/wp-engine-receives-recognizegood-award\/","title":{"rendered":"WP Engine Receives Award For Ethics In Business &#038; Community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This past week, several members of WP Engine\u2019s Employee Experience team joined 600-plus individuals at the AT&amp;T Executive Education and Conference Center in Central Texas for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recognizegood.org\/programs\/ethics-business-community\/past-honorees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RecognizeGood\u2019s<\/a> 15th annual<strong> Ethics in Business &amp; Community Awards<\/strong>. The ceremony aims to recognize outstanding ethical business practices to encourage the partnership between business and community in order to make Central Texas stronger.<\/p>\n<p>WP Engine is honored to have received an award for ethics in business and community for mid-size businesses. Nominations were made through RecognizeGood\u2019s community, then vetted by business students at Concordia University, followed by a final selection committee of distinguished Leadership Austin alumni. In addition, WP Engine\u2019s values revolve around giving back to the WordPress community through a number of ways that allow us to grow and thrive with one another. It is through these values that we make decisions and hold ourselves accountable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEthics for us is really about alignment with our core values,\u201d said WP Engine\u2019s CFO April Downing.
