I used to manage a server. And it kept me up at night. I worried about the software. I worried whether all of my tools were up-to-date. I had to come running if something went awry (which happens with technology, because, well, it\u2019s technology).<\/p>\n

I was trying to build and run a growing digital agency, and there I was managing a WordPress server, fighting fires, and wasting valuable time on tasks other than designing killer sites for my clients. I was doing work that a) wasn\u2019t advancing our business, and b) wasn\u2019t driving revenue. It was work that, to be frank, wasn\u2019t worth doing.<\/p>\n

Our goal at Saucal<\/a> is to design beautiful websites that attract new business to our clients. That promise was tough to deliver on when I was managing our server.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re anything like me, you used to hate migrating WordPress sites. It was a time-consuming, complicated hassle. A migration could take us on average two to three hours.
