Women Should Consider Tech to Build a Career<\/a><\/h2>\n

During this first video, Heather says she finds it fantastic to be a woman in tech, and that you don’t need to be a computer scientist to be in a tech company.<\/p>\n

I think there’s never been a better time for women to be in technology than right now.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She also discussed how in the near-term, we at WP Engine are doubling down on building out our platform\u2014our “secret sauce.”<\/p>\n

It’s Not Just a Blog It’s Business<\/a><\/h2>\n

This second clip focused on blogs, with Heather arguing that blogs are an essential part of business and communications with all of your audiences. She said:<\/p>\n

Blogs are key for bringing out the humanity of your brand.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Heather explained that blogs allow for long-form content, where you can talk about a product launch or an event you have coming up. She also talked about how WordPress is enabling any type of web content imaginable:<\/p>\n

WordPress is like a box of legos, you can do anything with it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
