The Billing page of the User Portal provides access to plan-related functions and details- such as invoices, modifying billing details, updating the credit card, locating your account\/customer\/hosting ID, or changing the plan tier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to Billing, Invoice and Modify Plan pages are restricted to Owner, Full (with billing), and Partial (with billing) users<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If lacking authorization to update billing information or access an account, contact the current account owner to have them add or update your access permissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/a>\n\n\n\n

Invoice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Within the Invoice<\/em> page, you will find items such as the invoices, ID, balance, and payment details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Update Payment Method<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Updating the payment method for a WP Engine account is done through the User Portal for users with Billing account access. The card may need to be updated if the payment is declined or if the card is expired. Additionally, resaving payment details will cause any outstanding charges to be attempted again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you require additional help to pay your bill, reach out to our Billing team<\/a> or via live chat<\/a>. Once a payment has been made, please also be aware that the invoice may take some time to reflect the charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If your site remains down after processing payment, please Contact Support<\/a> for website reactivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To update credit card details on file, click Update Payment Info<\/strong> in the Payment Method<\/em> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Alternatively, if Update Payment Info<\/em> is not available, click Edit<\/strong> in the Payment method<\/em> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you see an error when attempting to update these details, please contact your credit card issuer to ensure that your card allows for online transactions, specifically from WP Engine, and to confirm that all your credit card information is up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Should you be processing an invoice internally and are concerned about potential service suspension, you can avoid disruption by providing proof of payment. We will mark the account as having payment en route, thus ensuring seamless service. It\u2019s crucial to keep open communication with our billing team to achieve this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/a>\n\n\n\n

    Update Billing Contact<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    To the update the Billing Email Address and the Company Name (shown on the invoice) click Update contact info<\/strong> or Edit<\/strong> in the Billing contact<\/em> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Billing Email address will receive the plan invoice when your subscription renews. Only one user can receive the invoice at each renewal, so if you would like multiple contacts to be included, we recommend creating an email distribution list so you can include as many users as you would like. Company name will be shown on the invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Adjusting the billing contact here does not<\/em> create an associated User Portal account. If access to the account is desired, please add the user on the Users<\/strong><\/a> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/a>\n\n\n\n

    View and Download Invoice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    WP Engine invoices are located in the Invoices<\/strong> section of the Billing > Invoice page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you would like to view detailed plan invoices or download a PDF version of the invoice or credit memos, you can do so by clicking each invoice number. The downloaded billing invoice will display:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
