The WP Engine User Portal<\/a> enables account owners to make many adjustments to their plans through upgrades, downgrades, product extension features, and cancellations. This article will guide you in which changes are possible as self-serve options in the User Portal, and how to best perform plan changes.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When downgrading or cancelling services, it\u2019s important for us to hear from you so we can improve all of our features. Platform, hosting, and product extension feedback can be submitted anytime using the Product feedback<\/strong> link in the footer of the User Portal. Your feedback goes to our product team, who is always looking for ways to enhance our platform and delight our users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upgrade or Downgrade WP Engine Hosting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We know that businesses change and evolve over time. If you\u2019ve found your current plan no longer suits your business model, our team can assist in providing you alternative solutions. Downgrades will become effective on your next billing date. Please provide 10 business days notice to ensure that your new plan is reflected on your next invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shared hosting plans can upgrade to Premium, Premium 1, and Premium 2 using the self-service upgrade process below. (Websites using eCommerce, LMS, or membership plugins are unable to self-serve Premium upgrades. Instead please click Get in touch<\/em> on the Modify Hosting Plan<\/a> page.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only Owners<\/em> and Full users with Billing access<\/em><\/a> will be able to downgrade a plan.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The menu options for plan upgrade\/downgrade will be different depending on your plan type. Follow the directions below for self serve options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. From the User Portal<\/a>, click Billing<\/strong> in the main left menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Scroll down to the Support<\/strong> section select the appropriate link under the Modify plan<\/strong> heading.\n
