Today, WP Engine is excited to announce an expansion of this program, again doubling down on our commitment to WordPress agencies and clearing a path for substantial benefits to both WordPress agencies and the brands they serve.
What’s New? A Faster Path to WordPress Support, Bottom-line Revenue, and Agency Growth
WP Engine’s new agency partner program benefits are focused on the three primary benefits agencies seek with platform partnerships, according to many WP Engine agency surveys and anecdotal feedback from agency partners all around the world. The benefits agencies desire most include priority access to support and platform features, leads and enablement to help them grow their business, and material special pricing and incentives.
In order to invest in the agencies that help us grow and deliver more value than ever to our agency partners, we are announcing the following changes to the WP Engine Agency Partner Program:
- Priority Access to Advanced Support from WordPress experts: Agencies who refer at least 3 clients to WP Engine in the last 12 months will receive priority access to our most advanced technical support WordPress experts so they can help clients on WP Engine faster than ever.
- Industry-Leading $150 Referral Commissions: WP Engine is now offering an industry-leading $150 commission for all new shared hosting plan referrals. This is on top of our already industry-leading 8-12% recurring commissions on dedicated plans.
- Aggressive Discounts & Agency Specific Pricing: Up to 4 months FREE on shared plans and up to 2 months free on dedicated plans for agency partners, who can pass these special discounts on to their clients or use for themselves to get wholesale discounts for reselling hosting.
- Leads for Agencies: Agencies in our Advanced and Strategic program tiers will benefit from direct email introductions to brands in need of help from an agency which are surfaced to our agency partners from our internal sales, support, and other teams who engage with WP Engine’s brand customers on a regular basis.
- Easier Paths To Higher Tiers: A revised tier structure provides lower and more achievable milestones for agencies to move up to higher tiers and benefits faster than ever!
WP Engine’s updated Agency Partner Program policies take effect on August 1, 2022, for both new and existing agency partners. Existing partners will receive an email notification with more details and instructions for accessing these new benefits.
