After taking a hiatus last year due to the pandemic, WordCamp US is back and it’s right around the corner!

WordCamps are incredible sources of information and inspiration for WordPress contributors, developers, users, and enthusiasts from all over the world. This year’s event will take place Friday, October 1, at 8:45 am PDT/11:45 am EDT in an all-virtual format, filled with networking opportunities, speaker sessions, workshops, and more.

A Conference For All Things WordPress

As in years past, WordCamp US 2021 will include a ton of informative sessions led by an exciting group of experts and leaders from around the WordPress community.

From topics spanning Gutenberg Blocks and modern site builds, eCommerce success with WooCommerce, and Web Accessibility, this year’s WordCamp US will undoubtedly be another wellspring of knowledge and creativity for all WordPress users, regardless of experience level.

In addition to those topic-specific sessions (and a midday break for some live music!), this year’s lineup also includes plenty of focus on the wider, open source world of WordPress, with sessions dedicated to community building and contributing to open source projects.

Find WP Engine at WordCamp US!

WP Engine is excited to get back to WordCamp US and we’ll be in the mix with a live virtual booth from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm PDT.

You can access the Zoom booth (passcode: WPEWCUS21) from WP Engine’s exhibitor area at any point during the day, where you’ll also find a sign-up link for a chance to win a year of free hosting from WP Engine.

If you’ve been curious about (or haven’t heard of) WP Engine’s Atlas platform for Headless WordPress hosting, you’ll definitely want to check out the Atlas Demo & Q&A session hosted by WP Engine’s Will Johnston, from 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm CDT at our virtual booth.

Atlas is the complete Headless WordPress platform for absurdly fast dynamic websites, delighting both developers and content publishers by bringing together any preferred JS modern framework with dynamic front-end Node.js hosting and headless WordPress CMS all in one package—one trusted partner one responsible party for troubleshooting. Check out the live demo to find out more!

Attendees who join the demo will also receive a sign-up link for free snacks from Snack Magic and be entered for a chance to win a $500 Apple gift card.

An Educational Experience for All

No matter which sessions you attend during WordCamp US, the experience is sure to be educational, informative, and fun.

WordCamps provide a great way for both new and veteran WordPress users to sync up with the larger WordPress community and soak up new ideas, energy, and motivation. This holds true in an all-virtual format, as we saw with WordCamp Europe last year, and we’re excited to see all this year’s great sessions later this week.

Here’s to another great WordCamp US—see you online!
