Senior Vice President, Customer Success

As Senior Vice President of Customer Success at WP Engine, McAlister Southern leads the company’s global Customer Success organization. She is responsible for driving retention, strategic account engagement, and long-term customer value for enterprise and mid-market customers.

McAlister brings more than 15 years of experience building and scaling global customer value, account management, and retention organizations across enterprise technology companies. Prior to joining WP Engine, she held senior customer success and global retention leadership roles at Mitratech, where she led client-facing teams across multiple business units and played a central role in integrating more than 20 acquisitions. Earlier in her career, she held sales and leadership roles at Informatica and Cbeyond, supporting financial services and commercial customers.

McAlister holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Schreiner University. She is based in Austin, Texas, and actively supports international aid organizations.
