  1. Find the TikTok app on WooCommerce
    1. Go to Marketing in your WooCommerce dashboard and find the TikTok connection. (You can also find the TikTok extension in the WooCommerce Extension Marketplace.)
  2. Download the extension
    1. Click Connect Account to download the extension and…
  3. Log into an existing TikTok account or create a new one.
  4. Authorize TikTok For Business to connect using your TikTok Account.
  5. Select TikTok Marketing to set up advertising functionality for your WooCommerce store on TikTok.
  6. Log into your TikTok For Business Account, or create a new one. If you’ve already signed up for a TikTok for Business Account using your TikTok Account, your TikTok For Business account will automatically connect.
  7. Select the TikTok Business Center that belongs to your TikTok For Business account and click Connect. If you need to create a new TikTok Business Center, click Create New.
  8. Select the TikTok Ad account connected to your TikTok For Business account and click Connect. If you need to create a new TikTok Ad account, click Create New.
  9. Once your TikTok account, TikTok For Business account, TikTok Business Center, and Ad account are all connected, you will see the following page:

  4. Click Catalog, then click Create New to set up your product catalog sync. This will sync your existing product catalog with your TikTok Business Center.
  5. Provide your billing information.
  6. Click on each section to confirm your information. When you’re done, click Finish.

And that’s it! Your TikTok Pixel is fully operational, and you can return to the Create Events page to make new events at any time.

Requirements for creating a new TikTok Ads account

If you follow the steps outlined above, you will either connect an existing TikTok Ads account or you will be prompted to make a new one during setup. This tool will help you create and manage your ads on the platform.

If you’re creating a new TikTok Ads account, there are a few requirements for getting started: 

  • You need a TikTok account and Business Center account. 
  • Your business must operate within one of the following countries:
    • Inc: United States its territories and possessions, Canada, and Venezuela 
    • UK Limited: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway
    • Australia Pty Ltd: Australia and New Zealand
    • Pte. Ltd.: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Israel, Taiwan, Bangladesh, UAE, Morocco, Belarus, Turkey, Serbia, and Saudi Arabia
    • Bytedance Brasil Tecnologia Ltd.: Brazil

  • Your TikTok Ads account must be created in the same country as your Store ID

When you sign up, you’ll provide your country or region, industry, legal business name, time zone, phone number, and preferred currency.
