By partnering with Polar Stork, you won't just get a product : you'll gain a long-term ally in every step of your innovation journey.
We're a New York–based digital product development agency with a distributed team across seven countries and over a decade of work behind us. Much of that decade has been spent with nonprofits and social enterprises, often the same ones year after year, as their platforms grew from a first website into something their whole mission runs on.
That work shaped how we build. Accessibility isn't a final-round audit for us, it's how the product gets designed. Neither is internationalization: we build for multiple languages, scripts and reading directions, right-to-left included, without bolting it on later. And when your mission needs to be funded, we build the e-commerce and donation flows to match (storefronts, custom apps, subscriptions, one-off and recurring giving)
Whatever you want to build, we've got your back.

Info Portal — Refugee Rights Turkey & RSN
A multilingual information portal helping refugees in Turkey find reliable guidance on their rights. Built to serve readers across languages with different alphabets and reading directions, right-to-left included, with content presented in multiple formats so it stays usable on low-end devices and slow connections. One of several projects we've delivered for RSN over a multi-year relationship.
Eat Offbeat
An e-commerce platform for a US social enterprise whose menus are cooked by immigrant and refugee chefs. We built a storefront that handles ordering and delivery logistics while staying simple enough for a small team to run day to day. We did it inside a startup budget, so the platform could grow with the business instead of outpacing it.
Bridging Voice
An information portal for people navigating neurodegenerative disease and the assistive technologies available to them. Accessibility drove the design rather than following it: clear navigation, readable typography and assistive-tech support throughout, alongside a donations flow that lets the organization fund its work directly from the site.
Nadim Karam Studio
A portfolio site for a multidisciplinary artist and architect whose large-scale public art installations appear in cities around the world. The build had to hold decades of work — sculptures, paintings, exhibitions, urban-scale projects, published monographs — in a structure that stays navigable, puts the imagery first at full quality, and lets the studio add new projects and exhibitions without going back to a developer.
