Problem and Need:

The Wallenpaupack Lake Estate Recreation Committee came to Stephen Kriso looking for advice on how to improve the existing webpage that was currently on the main website for the community. The goal was to make it easy for residents to find information on what was going on in the community rather than having to rely on multiple platforms and be able to do it from a mobile device rather than traditional desktop.

Solution Proposed:

The solution proposed was to develop an independent website from the property owners association that would be maintained and managed by the recreation committee.

Therefore, a new site was developed that utilized a responsive and page builder friendly theme that was very all encompassing and friendly to the new WordPress block editor and other page builders. To manage events and potentially enable the organization to sell tickets to events online, we introduced an events calendar which allows events to be entered and displayed in a chronological order on the homepage. This site is now like no other in the competing market.
