A Shade Above Window Fashions is a window coverings retailer with multiple South Florida locations. The business is family owned and operated, with the third generation in place running the business. The website, launched in the summer of 2020 and continuously maintained by Search Appeal, was a huge step towards bringing the business forward allowing them to begin utilizing their online presence to increase sales during the pandemic.

Through the use of technical search engine optimization tactics, Search Appeal was able to assist with transitioning the business online appointment booking – altering the traditional ‘walk-in only’ way they had been doing business since 1984. Making the switch to appointments allowed them to continue to operate safely during the pandemic. Courteous Canine is a dog training facility in Tampa, Florida. Owner, professional dog trainer, and author, Angelica Steinker was advised to partner with a technical search engine optimization specialist due to the nature of her website structure. After years of working with various optimization teams, the site had become bloated with overly optimized, duplicate pages. The class registration process was confusing and difficult to manage. The website was impossible to maintain and update.
