Yesterday, May 14th, WP Engine helped celebrate the best of the internet at the 22nd annual Webby Awards. The Webby Awards is the Internet’s most respected symbol of success and more than 13,000 submissions from 70 different countries were submitted this year.  Awards were given in a variety of categories including websites, film & video, advertising, media & PR, mobile sites & apps, social, podcasts, and games. This year, the Webby Awards honored noteworthy individuals and organizations creating change and pushing the boundaries for what is capable online. Notable winners included Adam Sandler, Susan Fowler, and the March For Our Lives movement.

WP Engine is proud to partner with the Webby Awards to help power a great experience for users on the Webby Site-whether they are voting for winners or just perusing the extensive winner’s gallery that contains 21 years of internet royalty.
