Join WP Engine at WordCamp US!

WordCamp US is just around the corner and at WP Engine, we’re getting pumped up for this year’s jam-packed event!

WordCamp US is the largest WordCamp event in North America, and this year, thousands of WordPress enthusiasts from around the globe will descend on St. Louis, MO for three days of WordPress-centric speakers, workshops, networking events, and other fun activities.

At WP Engine, we have a number of exciting activities planned for this year’s WordCamp US, most of which will occur at our booth (#300) in the sponsor hall.

For starters, we’ll be hosting a “passport game” with Hubspot and Flywheel, in which players can complete challenges at the WP Engine, Hubspot, and Flywheel booths to get their passports “stamped” to win high-quality swag. Players who are able to get all four available stamps will also be entered to win a $350 travel voucher. Stop by the WP Engine booth for more details.  

We’ll also have ongoing demos for Smart Plugin Manager, which WP Engine launched in June. Smart Plugin Manager solves the headache of plugin updates by automating the update process, so users can set their update preferences and get on with their lives. Come by our booth for more information. 

WP Engine employees Stacey Lane and Jay Hill—the designer and developer behind the recent redesign of Torque—will also be at our booth to field questions about the redesign project, which used the Genesis Framework, Atomic Blocks, and Gutenberg as part of the rebuild. 

Finally, we’ll be hosting a WordCamp after party at Three Sixty, one of St. Louis’ premier rooftop locations. The party is being generously sponsored by Hubspot and Site Kit by Google. Make sure and come join us for some great food and cocktails!

No matter what you end up doing at WordCamp US, the experience is sure to be educational, informative, and fun. WordCamps are great ways for both new and veteran WordPress users to sync up with the larger WordPress community and soak up new ideas, energy, and motivation.
