We’re so honored that the hard work and dedication of our Customer Support team has once again been recognized with a Silver Stevie Award For Sales & Customer Service. WP Engine earned its very first Stevie in 2015—a bronze award for our customer experience.
Since then, we’ve had the privilege of accepting more than a dozen Stevie Awards. Each one is a testament to the important work of our Customer Support team members, who work around the clock to improve the experiences of those who choose to work with us.
Last week, Stevies finalists were honored during a banquet at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. WP Engine VP of Technical Support Bob Beltran was in attendance, along with a few other WP Engine employees, and accepted the award on WP Engine’s behalf.
“We take great pride in being Customer Inspired at WP Engine, and this award is a wonderful way to validate all of the hard work our Customer Support team does every single day, 24/7/365.” Beltran said.
“It’s an honor and a privilege for us to help our customers achieve success with WordPress, and I’m beyond thrilled that our team continues to receive such prestigious recognition from the Stevies.”
The Stevies represent eight different branches of awards, each intended to recognize excellence within the confines of certain business aspects or geographical areas.
The annual awards for sales and customer service specifically are an opportunity to “recognize the achievements of contact center, customer service, business development, and sales professionals worldwide.”
Judging for this year’s awards was performed by more than 170 professionals worldwide, and nominees were sorted into seven specialized judging categories. Each entry was then viewed and rated on a scale of 1–10 by no fewer than five judges. To earn a Silver distinction, the entry had to achieve an average score of at least eight.
Regarding WP Engine’s submission, judges had plenty of praise to pass along. “Excellent submission!” raved one Stevies judge. “This entry clearly demonstrates the team’s success and commitment to customer-inspired initiatives.”
