The Philanthropist Journal

The journal outgrew its current website's user experience and interface and wanted to widen its audience reach. Through careful consultation with the journal’s staff, board, and intended audience we were able to chart a clear path forward for their brand strategy, visual brand, and website redesign process. The new brand is vibrant and modern, just like the journal’s intended audience. The journal’s new website leverages easy editorial processes by using WordPress as its content management system. It implements the new visual brand while balancing traditional editorial elements, presenting the expected with unique touches throughout.

Community Forests International

CFI had a new visual brand that needed to be applied to its current website. We set out to reenvision CFI’s website without creating an entirely new website. We call this a website re-styling rather than a full redesign and development. This unique challenge of not changing the admin setup and experience allowed us to really flex our design and font-end development muscles.

Broadbent Institute

Broadbent Institute needed a brand refresh to better reflect its values and a new website with an easy-to-use bilingual content management system. Keeping the existing logo variation at the core and applying accessibility best practices throughout the process, we created a fresh colour pallet that connects to the institute’s history while looking toward the future. For the institute’s new website, we created modular content elements and patterns and put WordPress to work to make it easy to manage content without having to know any coding nor starting from a blank page.

Perspectives journal

The Broadbent Institute needed to strike just the right tone for its new online publication to reach a wide audience while also clearly communicating its core values. With a number of projects already in the Broadbent Institute family, we created a visual brand that could both stand on its own and fit in with existing conventions. The new journal’s website leverages the ease of editorial content processes built into WordPress and offers the journal’s team a number of custom blocks to craft engaging articles and future content types.
