Nestled in the heart of Hood River, Oregon, Chinook Plumbing isn’t your average family-owned business—they’re the superheroes of sinks, the champions of clogs, and the maestros of plumbing maintenance. When they tapped us to re-fresh their decades-old web design and branding, we eagerly rolled up our sleeves and dove in. We crafted a bold and playful new logo featuring a finned mascot that exudes friendliness and hometown warmth, extending its reach into everything from business cards to stickers, and even splashing onto apparel and decals for a fleet of work vehicles. And because no modern hero can go without a digital lair, we designed and developed an SEO-optimized WordPress website that’s as slick as it is functional. We carefully crafted and curated all the written and visual content on the new web design and branding package to showcase Chinook Plumbing’s depth of services and expertise.

Incubate teamed up with EVmatch, a nationwide network for sharing and renting private and commercial EV charging stations, overhaul the existing sales, marketing, and e-commerce efforts of the EVmatch website. This collaboration aimed to redesign, develop, and migrate the website to a new Wordpress platform.

Our web design goals focused on enhancing, clarifying and simplifying the user experience, creating clearly defined CTAs and restructuring the content to direct clients towards relevant EVmatch solutions and product offerings. To achieve these design goals, we redesigned the user interface, restructured content to improve user flow and responsive design techniques, and we consolidated and integrated various third-party services to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand experience. Incubate also integrated SEO optimized content, Google Analytics 4 and custom tracking events to facilitate metrics and tracking of integrated marketing campaigns and website visits.

The website was designed and developed within the WordPress Content Management System, enabling the Marketing Team at EVmatch to manage day-to-day content directly without the need for design or developer assistance.

Providence Health & Services approached Incubate to completely rethink the User Experience and User Interface for their multitude of foundation websites spanning 7 states and over 240 institutional funds. The overarching goals were to streamline the donation process, provide a standardized baseline of content needs for each foundation to support large and small institutions, and simplify the navigational structure between national and local levels of the foundation websites. Incubate began the process by leading and collaborating with a diverse group of key Providence Foundation stakeholders from multiple states to conduct a comprehensive site discovery and audit. We redefined the user base and established a set of features and content criteria, which detailed the front-end & back-end CMS needs. Incubate was responsible for developing a streamlined site content creation strategy. The UI/UX design concept was developed with the client’s self-managed CMS system in mind. Incubate designed a set of flexible website components and page templates for use within the existing CMS, enabling the Providence team to create, update and manage pages for their individual websites. The site is ADA compliant, and meets the latest web standards.

Mackenzie is a design and architecture firm for the built environment. Throughout their 60+ years, Mackenzie’s services evolved, and the firm now offers a range of disciplines, including architecture, interior design, structural, civil and traffic engineering, land use and transportation planning, and landscape architecture. So, when Mackenzie approached Incubate to redesign and update their web presence, we were excited for the chance to work with such like-minded collaborative individuals. We started the project with a discovery process, where we collectively evaluated, discussed and organize the website’s content, navigation and user experience needs for each section of the site. We then created a cohesive sitemap, detailed wireframes, and then began exploring design concepts. Our goal with the website’s design was to create clear and consistent navigational pathways to both their portfolio and to other relevant information. We created a flexible content platform that would allow the client to highlight a building's design process and construction. The new site was developed as a responsive, ADA compliant headless CMS backend with an HTML5/CSS front-end. Incubate also migrated the content, and manages on-going site maintenance.
