Qbic is a group of boutique hotels that currently span London, Amsterdam and Brussels, with more on the way. The site makes use of Wordpress Multisite and WPML to facilitate managing the content of multiple hotels in several languages through one dashboard. By inlining above-the-fold CSS, viewport-based lazy loading and server-side caching techniques, Qbic has achieved a first contentful paint speed of under a second.

From time to time, Qbic launch appealing competitions that drive site traffic to much higher levels than they normally would. In these instances, we leverage WP Engine to detect and increase bandwidth for these occasions.

Club Quarters hotels is a chain of over fifteen hotels spanning the USA and the UK. Site speed and ADA accessibility targets were paramount for this build, accounting for suitable colour contrasts and a markup structure and functionality that caters for screen reading software.

The Grove is a well-known five star destination complete with accommodation, dining options, spa, conference centre and high-profile golf course. The site’s content is managed by stakeholders of these departments – as such, we needed to be able to grant access to specific Custom Post Types based on user profiles.

At the time of writing, The Grove performs with a first input delay of 53ms.

Zoku is an Amsterdam-based apartment hotel for travelling professionals, with more locations soon to be launched in the pipeline. The site uses WPML to facilitate multilingual functionality for English and Dutch languages.

At the time of writing, the Zoku website achieves a first contentful paint and first meaningful paint of 0.4s.
