  • The ChallengeA beautiful site, underperforming

Sonovate had built a beautiful website, but long server response times were causing pages to load slowly — the site wasn’t living up to its potential.

  • The SolutionA seamless migration to dedicated hosting

Hallam formally migrated Sonovate’s site onto a dedicated WP Engine server, seeing Time to First Byte numbers drop immediately once the new infrastructure was in place.

ResultsA quick win, backed by the right infrastructure

Time to First Byte dropped from an average of 1.7 seconds to just 90.5 milliseconds — well under Google’s “good” threshold of 800 milliseconds — purely from the new server infrastructure and WP Engine’s WordPress-optimized platform.

  • 43.8%

decrease in average page load time

  • 30.7%

decrease in average server response time

There was no doubt in our minds that moving the site from its previous hosting environment to WP Engine’s platform would yield immediate results.
