Why WP Engine?

We have been using WPEngine to host our WordPress/WooCommerce sites for nearly a year. We have found the whole experience to be effortless and carefree which means we can focus on the functionality of our site instead of the maintenance of the server and back end.

We work with dozens of clients delivering eCommerce solutions and we’ve recommended a move to WP-Engine for all of them.

I’ve been an Agency Partner with WP Engine for a couple of years now. They were referred by a friend of mine who runs another WordPress agency. He suggested they were the most together host out there. That’s been my experience. They aren’t the cheapest, but they are the best, and can be competitively priced if you choose your plan conservatively. Comparing to the horizontally scaled / growth platforms out there they have less workflow restrictions, economical for small teams, while still supporting de-coupled architecture for Enterprise customers. They have lots of bells and whistles built-in and available as paid add-ons, including for eCommerce. Most aren’t required, but some can be quite useful. I’ve been very pleased with WP Engine 🙂

With 23+ years of experience in designing/building/hosting websites for hundreds of clients, I have seen and used many different hosting providers. WP Engine is by far the easiest, fastest (with no extra cache plugins), and most secure WordPress hosting solution I’ve used. I’ve been with them 6+ years and have never had a site hacked or been down for any discernible length of time, without any extra security or backup plugins. In those few times I have a question or need help with a site, WPE always has an answer and I’ve never had to wait more than 30 seconds (usually no more than 5) for a support technician.
